Feature Overview: Vendor Review
Token of Trust is designed to protect consumer privacy first and foremost. Everyone who goes through a Token of Trust verification process is informed that they will be sharing their information and verification documents with Token of Trust specifically (and NOT the vendor they are transacting with).
However, there are a number of reasons vendors may want access to consumer's documents such as:
- The ability to approve users who failed the Token of Trust verification process.
- To review consumer ID images personally.
- To substitute Token of Trust manual verification fall-back protection with an in-house manual approval fall-back.
To support these cases we developed Vendor Review.
Overview
Vendor Review allows Token of Trust customers to access additional tools through their HQ Dashboard that allow them to view consumer documents and approve consumers based on their review, or personal knowledge of the user.
When Vendor Review is turned on, consumers are informed that they will be sharing information with both Token of Trust and the Vendor during the verification process.
We require that every user who has access to vendor review go through a background check.
Vendor review cost an additional $50/mo/user.
How to Get Started
If you would like to activate vendor review on your account you can request it for your chosen users by logging into HQ and navigating to Manage Your Team.
Vendor Review can only be activated for named users on a personal email. We cannot authorize shared emails (support@, info@, compliance@, etc.) for Vendor Review.
Once you request Vendor Review a Success Team Member will reach out to you to get started with your background check.
Once your check comes back cleared you'll have access within a few days.
