How do I get Token of Trust working on Shopify?

When you install the Token of Trust app on Shopify Basic (or any plan other than Shopify Plus) the Verification process will be configured after checkout on the thank you screen.

Set Up Steps

Go to the Token of Trust app listing and install the app.

The first screen you see will then direct you to create a token of trust account by clicking "Get Started"

You'll then have to create your Token of Trust account using an email address to which you have access and can retrieve one-time login codes.

After you've retrieved and entered the login code, you'll have to agree to the Terms of Service,

select the minimum age you wish to verify in your shopify store,

and select a plan.

After you select a plan, you'll be directed to return to Shopify, where there are a few more steps to complete.

You'll have to approve the subscription and method of payment through Shopify.

This approval needs to be sent back to your Token of Trust account to activate the service on our end as well. Just click the "Return to Shopify" button! This step happens automatically, but we cannot direct you back to shopify automatically without your click.

Finally, you must enable the Automated Verification Service by opening the app from within your Shopify Account one last time.

Verification are now live in your Shopify Store!

Customers who complete a purchase will now be prompted to submit their information for verification on the thank you page:
