What happens when a state rejects my report?
States will occasionally reject submitted reports due to various reasons including:
- Incorrect document formats
- Incorrect data formats
- Missing information in required fields
Rejected reports can lead to compliance issues and penalties.
Self-Submission
To re-submit an amended or corrected report, first , take the necessary steps to correct the error based on the instructions provided by the state authority representative. Verify data accuracy and ensure all the data fields are filled out correctly and we're using the updated template.
When resubmitting reports via email, ask for a confirmation from the state representative that the re-submission is successful and with no errors.
To re-submit via state's portal, there is often an option to file an amended report as in the screenshots below:

Token of Trust provides a submission service for most PACT Act Reports. We will submit your reports to the states via each states submission method.
What happens when a state rejects a Token of Trust Submission?
Our standard procedure for this is to update the report with the necessary corrections and re-submit within 1 business day. If the corrections require gathering additional information from the customer, we will contact you to gather the required information before re-submitting.
